Help spread the word! We need help getting West Virginia out to vote. In the 2024 general election only 55% of West Virginians got out to vote. Even worse in the 2022 midterm election, only 35% of eligible voters made it to the polls. Simply talking to your neighbors and asking them to make a plan to vote could make a big impact.

Simply put, I am running so I can work towards improving the lives of West Virginians.Too many elected officials have forgotten they work for the people. It's time to remind them by voting out those only serving their self interest. I am ready to work with you to improve the day to day lives of all West Virginians, from the hills to the hollers every person matters.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Engineering a more prosperous West Virginia.</h2><h3>Living in West Virginia from the age of 14, I was a high school dropout getting my GED at Garnet Career Center in Charleston and working every odd job imaginable. I began to pursue my Engineering Degree when I was 25 in Montgomery, WV at WVU Institute of Technology, somehow managing to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering. Ever since I have been working on projects to better our communities, working to fund projects in abandoned towns and hollows throughout the state. My knowledge is in infrastructure, but my passion is in bettering communities, providing clean water and reliable utilities, and better access to education and opportunity.</h3><h4>Building back West Virginia is going to be no easy feat, but the worse option is what our current officials have chosen, to sit by and do nothing while our beautiful state is pillaged of its history and scenery. Join with me to restore almost heaven West Virginia.</h4>

Why I'm Running

Home

Accountability has to be returned to the public utilities servicing West Virginia. Utilities providers request rate hikes on what seems like a daily basis, and yet many parts of our state are lacking reliable utilities and clean drinking water. These companies make record profits year after year while our citizens continue to suffer from poor service and record high bills.

Public Utilities

West Virginia's coal is the best in the world to make steel, but we are more than coal mines. The people of West Virginia are skilled and hard working, our elected officials just need to give investors a good reason to come to our state. I intend on finding creative ways to bring quality, safe jobs to our state and putting forth legislation to slow AI from taking what we have.

Job Creation

West Virginia is a health care desert. Health insurance is now expensive enough to send the majority of West Virginians into poverty, and for what? Just to pay a deductible you'll never meet. I would like to draft a bill to make West Virginia the first state to provide universal healthcare for all residents.

Health Care

It is already illegal for non US citizens to vote in our elections. We do not need more legislation making it harder for US citizens to vote. I will vote against any and all bills that make it more difficult for any citizen of West Virginia to legally cast their ballot.

West Virginia needs housing! To get that though needs investment and diversification. Corporations own large numbers of rental properties throughout the state with rental rates double that of a mortgage. We need to limit how many properties a corporation can own to give single home buyers a chance at owning their first home.

Affordable Housing

My career is in transportation engineering and West Virginia has one of the largest road networks, and highest number of bridges of the 50 states. Getting residents from the hollows and the ridges to the towns is increasingly difficult. I intend on bringing bills that will increase our public transportation network and better maintain our roadways.

Roadways

In Kanawha County alone this year we are going to lose 140 teaching jobs in public education, not to count countless more positions that were funded by federal funds. Our public schools need better funding, better resources, and better facilities for the future of our children and our teachers.
